Vandalism – Are voids more liable to vandalism than other property?

Voids can attract more vandalism as there is less surveillance on the property from occupiers and visitors. They are often seen as a source of easy money by selling copper, lead or fixtures or a safe place for drug dealing or storing stolen goods. Vandalism is often seen as ‘victimless’ as the property is vacant and perceived to be ‘unwanted’.
