Plywood – What’s wrong with using plywood to secure my vacant property?

Plywood is a poor security measure as it is inherently weak and degrades over time in damp conditions. Often it is installed with simple Phillips screws allowing easy removal. It also does not afford natural light or ventilation inside the property.
