EICR – Do I need an EICR for my void?

“Electrical Installation Condition Reports” are also known as the Landlord Safety Test. All rental properties require an EICR based on the latest regulations. It notes any electrical damage, deterioration, defects, or potentially dangerous conditions. EICR Testing is typically done every five years or at the start of a new tenancy. Completing the EICR whilst the property is secured and has controlled access is preferable.
