Concrete blocks – How can these be utilised to prevent traveller occupation?
Avoiding vehicle access onto car parks is essential to prevent traveller occupation. Concrete blocks such as Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers (TVCB) weigh some 2.5 tonnes and so unauthorised removal is difficult. In addition, they can be secured into suitable road surfaces and bolted together for greater security. Vehicle access can be maintained through lockable steel vehicle gates.
