ARC – What is the Alarm Receiving Centre’s role in security?
The Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is a manned 24-hour monitoring facility. The ARC monitors both alarm activations and reports on other alarm comms including low battery, signal strength and tamper activations. Upon an alarm activation, they will summon a fast-response team to the site and coordinate any additional ‘blue light’ or re-securing service to react to the threat.
